Show Your Life – 2nd Youth Day Rights Promotion Performance saw participation from the champion of Jungle Voice competition You-ting Li along with performance by 14 senior high school and vocational high school dance clubs, featuring diverse styles such as jazz, hip hop, popping, locking, and breaking, demonstrating youthful exuberance of the younger generation.

According to Social Affairs Bureau of Taichung City Government, the city hall had brought together Child Welfare League Foundation – Central District Search Assistance Division, Taichung City Juvenile Counseling Committee, Juvenile Delinquency Prevention Brigade, Taichung City Police Department, North District Family Welfare Service Center, and Garden of Hope Foundation to set up booths promoting Convention on the Rights of the Child, relevant legal knowledge, drugs, sexual exploitation, and Internet safety etc.

Through simple challenge games, it is hoped to raise public awareness of youth rights. By completing challenges at any 5 promotional booths, the participants may enter the lottery draw to win great prizes such as Nintendo Switch, movie ticket, and gift vouchers.

Social Affairs Bureau pointed out that in order to increase youth participation, the Taichung Juvenile Welfare Center Facebook page will be conducting a performance group popularity online poll 2 weeks before the event, where the top 3 groups will receive a cash prize of NT$1,000, 2,000 and 3,000 respectively.
