Regarding the fire accident of a tour bus earlier, it aroused public concern about the safety of buses. And the safety issues of rehabilitation buses that transport physically and mentally disabled people to receive medical attention and rehabilitation treatment have also gained much concern.
The Social Affairs Bureau expressed that although the contracted rehabilitation companies take part in emergency training and accident exercise regularly according to their contract, the burning of a tour bus and the fire accident of an elderly home have highlighted the urgency of disaster prevention.
When a fire happens, the rehabilitation bus drivers should carry the disabled people to safe and appropriate places in a short time and contact paramedics before taking them to hospitals. It is a challenge to the responses and professional abilities of the drivers. In ordinary times, they should pay attention to traffic safety when transporting them to and from hospital. When an accident happens, they need to cope with the accidents and emergencies with response strategies.
The Social Affairs Bureau also said that in the fire drill, the fire department instructed the drivers of the huge and small rehabilitation buses to help passengers evacuate when fire accident happens. It also demonstrated how to operate emergency exits or exits, and the use of fire extinguishers. The fire department also showed them the locations of emergency window breaker and its usage. They also practiced the procedure of evacuating passengers for medical care. Although the weather was very hot, each driver was very enthusiastic and lively, working their best to promote the service quality.

We can try to understand the fire facilities in the fire engines and the evacuation procedures actively to work for the transport safety together.
