The topics of social innovation get increasingly important that Taichung should spare no effort for this cause in conjunction with the education in school for the development of students in social responsibility with the expectation that they will feedback to society whole-heartedly after entering into the industry, said Director Lee Yun-Chieh of the Bureau of Social Affairs. Culture and creativity will be the fundamental element for social transformation. This exhibition will be the manifestation of the value of social innovation and artistic creation in its entirety.
According to the Bureau of Social Affairs, this exhibition is a joint effort of industry, government, and academe, which was designed by the National Taichung University of Education and National Taichung University of Science and Technology with University Social Responsibility (USR) as the theme. Through the collaborative corporate resources from Taichung Gift Association and Taichung Industry Story Association, and the creative design of the students, the collaboration between the industry and academe demonstrated the practice of corporate social responsibility (CSR) of Taichung City and innovation.
The artistic creative industrial design and the team from the junior class of the Department of Creative Design and Management, and the Seasonal Harvest Horticulture Workshop
jointly designed and developed the gift packing materials under the idea of “Indulged in preparation for the VIP and prepared the gift with personal feeling.” This item is named by Seasonal Harvest Horticulture Workshop as “Harvest in All Seasons” depicting the variation of colors with different seasons on the list of floral materials for the choice of the consumers.
Another team was organized by Quing-Hong-Zao-Bai team of the sophomore students at the National Taichung University of Education and the “123 Robot,” the brand of Jing Shui Workshop to launch the VI system. This team also designed the poster for the robotic program design camp, which could be disassembled and assembled. This is the demonstration of a new technological outlook of man-machine cooperation.
According to the Bureau of Social Affairs, the teams entered the Taichung Social Innovation Experimental Park expect to provide service for collaborative education regularly in the future to assist the local social innovation team for further development and nurture the strong and new social innovation power of Taichung.
