Q What benefits can a protective order bring?

There are 12 kinds of protective orders:
(1) Injunction: The offender is prohibited from hitting you or other family members.
(2) Injunction: The offender is prohibited from calling you by phone or writing to you or performing any other harassment to you.
(3) Relocation order: The offender is ordered to move out of your premises.
(4) Clear-away order: The offender is ordered not to stay within a certain distance from your residence, school, workplace, or any other places frequented by you.
(5) Temporary use rights: The offender is ordered to surrender a car, motorcycle or other necessities for your use in daily life, work, and schooling.
(6) Temporary guardianship order: The offender is ordered to give away custody of minor children to you.
(7) Temporary visitation order: The offender is ordered to visit minor children in a specified way or is restricted from visitation.
(8) Payment order: The offender is ordered to pay your rent and supporting costs.
(9) Payment order: The offender is ordered to pay the fees for your medical care, counseling, shelter, or other property damage.
(10) Prevention order: The offender is ordered to receive medical care for addictions, psychiatric treatment and psychological counseling.
(11) Payment order: The offender is ordered to pay your attorneys' fees.
(12) Other protective orders: Any other necessary measures to protect you and your family may be taken.
